EN.CORE: How much did the Japanese Metal scene change since founding GALNERYUS in 2001?
SYU: Metal is a very western musical culture. It changes according to trends, including those that come to Japan, too.
Yuhki: Though the changing is slower. In Japan, the standards remain the same, which is sad because the scene stays small.
EN.CORE: SYU, you have your own signature models from ESP. How does the ›Crying Star‹ series differ from other guitars?
SYU: It is the best!
EN.CORE: Okay, we get that. But, why?
SYU: It is easy to play and it’s a medium scale, not a long scale guitar. Everyone can play it; men and women alike. It’s easy to fret the chords. The ›Crying Star‹ and Metal music work together harmoniously. It is a Metal guitar for everyone, including you!
EN.CORE: Yes, we should try it out!
